Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's video generation model, released 2026-08, designed for long-form storytelling and multimodal reference-based creation. It supports video editing and extension, first-frame and first-and-last-frame control, up to 50 reference assets across image, video, and audio, optional generated audio, and multilingual audiovisual output.
